The Toddler Room provides places for up to 15 children per day with four Educators working across the day. In this room, the children are introduced to a variety of new experiences, which are planned to further develop their growing language, cognitive and physical skills and social and emotional development.

The children are also encouraged to develop a greater sense of self and are supported to achieve greater independence. Educators work in partnership with families during this time to commence toilet training with the children.

Children will have the opportunity to explore the indoor and outdoor environment on a daily basis. This is when they discover, experiment, begin to hypothesise and speculate. They will be encouraged and supported to develop a love of learning as educators scaffold their experiences. We encourage and support safe risk taking through climbing, waterplay, excursions into the community, jumping in puddles and more.
